Power off your notebook. If linked to your pc, unplug the AC adapter. Disconnect any cables coupled to the unit.

Turn the notebook over making sure that is upside-documented on the table or desk. Get rid of the power supply in the computer. On most laptops, you will need to slide it latch in the “unlocked” position and then pull battery pack out from the computer. B156HW01

Inspect the bottom of the notebook to discover if any screws employ a monitor label or icon to display the LCD screen. If present, eliminate the retaining screw using a screwdriver. Its not all laptops have screws for your monitor at the base on the unit, but some do.

Flip the notebook back over and open the LCD display screen until fully extended around the work surface (180 degrees). B156HW01 V.4

Readily awl or flathead screwdriver to pry the keyboard edge cover or hinge cover above the top row of keys for the keyboard. Be very gentle when prying the cover to stop breaking or damaging the retaining clips or snaps. (Over a few models, there exists a retaining screw on the side of internet connected computers that secures the keyboard edge/hinge cover. In case your laptop incorporates a retaining screw, erase it before wanting to remove the cover.) B156XW02 V.2

Remove the screws above the top row of keys that hold the keyboard constantly in place, or eliminate the keys labeled for that keyboard on the bottom in the notebook (based on the design of your respective notebook).

Lift laptop keyboards from the tray and disconnect its ribbon cable on the motherboard connector. Lay laptop keyboards aside to enable you to access the hinges beneath LP156WH3 .

Tighten the captive screws to the LTN173KT01 . Detail will not fix the loose screen problem, you must eliminate the front bezel on the LCD screen enclosure and tighten the upper hinge.
